Andy Partridge
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!
If you’re here, you’re likely family, a dear friend, or a fellow photography enthusiast—and I’m so glad you dropped in.
I was born, raised, and educated in England, where I also met my wife, Lynne, during my last year of college. We’ve been together for more than half a century now. She’s my wife, my best friend, and the absolute heart and soul of our family. We have two daughters who now have families of their own, and thankfully, we all live close to each other right here in Texas.
My working life kicked off in England in the mid-seventies before launching into a wonderful international career in the restaurant and hospitality business. That adventure took us all over the world, letting us live and work across Europe, Asia, and eventually the USA. Lynne bought me my very first camera back when we lived in Singapore. Naturally, those early days of photography were all about family life, the places we called home, the incredible people we met, and the moments we shared together—especially around the dinner table, since we are total foodies at heart.
When I retired, I decided to give photography some real time and intentionality. I wanted to see if I could develop the skills, techniques, and feel to create images I could be proud of, and to capture moments in a more meaningful way.
My formal photography education started with Muench Workshops in 2015. I've been incredibly fortunate to build a lasting relationship with the organization—and in particular with Wayne Suggs, an incredible photographer and Muench Pro. We’ve worked closely together over the past several years, and many of the images you see on this site were captured on workshops with Wayne and other Muench Pros. I owe him a lot; he's both a phenomenal mentor and a great friend.
Just to be clear, this website isn’t a storefront—it’s simply my visual diary to share my images and experiences with family, friends, and fellow photography peeps. That said, if you ever see an image on here that speaks to you and you’d like a print for your home, just let me know and I can certainly make that happen.
Grab a drink, have a look around, and enjoy the journey!
